Ordered takeout from here. Service was good and food was ready when I arrived. VERY colorful place inside! Cute festive decor. I ordered 4 tacos and an order of rice and beans. Rice and beans were good and had flavor. I ordered the al pastor, carnitas, barbacoa, and chorizo. I was given an extra taco of some sort of soft pork skin. I tried a bite of it, but it wasn't for me. The barbacoa was also a little oily for me, but the carnitas, chorizo, and al pastor were all good. Large portions. Affordable spot to eat. Would come back.

This place is a hidden gem! Another bonus, you can practice your Spanish by watching Spanish soap drama and order your food in Spanish! Otherwise, you'll have to resort in pointing at the menu! Food is delicious! Very authentic Mexican food! I would come back for sure!

Very good and inexpensive food. We went there at 8:30pm and the place was still packed with Hispanic customers, which is a good sign. Food came out relatively quick and in big portions. Dinner for 2 came to about $60 bucks, and we were stuffed. The beef Gordita was the only item not quite delicious, as the wrap was fried and had unappetizing texture.

HANDS DOWN - the best authentic Mexican food I've had! . Coming from Hawaii, I don't have much experience in this field but all my Mexican friends love this spot so I trusted their expertise here. I was happily surprised and impressed with my basic order of birria tacos. The venue was busy but service was quick and thoughtful. Loved the food, ambiance, music, and overall vibe of this shop. A definite go-to spot for future cravings. . cheersies! (:

So, I had to take my dad to get a taste of one of my favorite foods that I always eat in California. BIRRIA!! I did my research and found this place! My dad isn't a huge fan of Mexican food, but now he is obsessed and we've already went back another time before I left for his birthday lunch. When we first arrived it was on a rainy day almost as soon as they opened. And boy was it already crowded!!! They do have plenty of parking and a lot of seating. There was a huge line of people getting take out and a line of people dining in. After waiting about 10 minutes in line we finally got to order. I ordered the birria tacos and the quesadilla with birria (no onions or cilantro) also chips and salsa (they do give you a big sized thing of salsa with your chips, but there's also a salsa bar! Which I am a sucker for salsa bars! This place is so lively and colorful. One of the sweet girls working here was putting out fresh roses on the altar they have and cleaning the place After about 10 minutes they brought the food out to the table (you order up front at the register and they give you a number to take to your table and bring it out) The Birria was amazing!!! I got ripped off because some how I only ended up with one taco and a little piece of the quesadilla because my dad couldn't stop eating it lol. He LOVED the consommé that comes with it. They gave us two big containers of it with our meals. I'll admit, the consommé was great. It wasn't too salty or spicy. Had an amazing flavor to it which was mild I'll be honest with you, living in Maryland for two years I never found one single Mexican restaurant that was authentic. But now we have this place to go to! Their menu is actually pretty decent in size I have zero complaints, we both walked away so happy and I'm thrilled I have my dad hooked on birria and this place. They do have a couple TVs I noticed, if you come here during rush hour like prime time lunch or dinner be prepared to wait. Because the amount of people that were already there at 11 am was crazy P.S. they have a military discount! I didn't notice any soda fountain drinks or alcohol. I believe it's just bottled water and soda. But they do offer drinks like horchata. We ordered water bottles and it wasn't the tiny kinds they give you at restaurants. These were huge. Whenever I come to places like that I always have to order 2 water bottles at least. But I still had leftover water from the large bottle. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is their rice, It was just average. But their other stuff blew us away. They did have stuff already pre packed like cakes and etc. so next time I'll have to get my dad to try their tres leches cake
